It has been discovered that the non-inclusion of experienced players in the 38-man provisional list submitted by coach Stephen Keshi to the Nigeria Football Federation last week is the reason behind the delay in its announcement.

It has been learnt that the Technical Committee rejected the list due to the absence of the trio of Peter Odemwingie, Joseph Yobo and Chinedu Obasi.

An Oshodi Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Wednesday struck out a charge of attempted rape preferred against a 28-year-old facebook lover, Kelvin Suru, for want of evidence.

A runaway car plowed into a Florida church, smashing through a wall and injuring around 20 worshippers attending Easter services, police said on Monday.
