The Pursuit of Happyness is probably one of the most inspirational movies ever. The story revolves around one salesman (Will Smith) who undergoes many challenges and defeats in

order to secure a better life for his son. But the most important thing is that throughout his tough journey he never gave up and always stood firm to his goals. This movie speaks a lot about a dad’s love for his kid, about self-belief, determination and has a strong message for audience: Don’t let somebody tell you that you can’t do something. This wonderful movie is based on Chris Gardner’s true story.

Rocky

Well, this list would be incomplete without maybe the biggest inspirational movie of all time – Rocky. This movie is about an underdog club fighter Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) who manage to overcome all odds to become the world heavyweight champion. Incredible movie that speaks about facing fear in life and the journey to success. Rocky has very inspirational message: Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you will hit, it’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward.

La Vita E Bella (Life Is Beautiful)

One of my favorite inspirational movies of all time. Roberto Benigni did a great job playing Guido – a charming father who is in a concentration camp with his 5 year old son and manages to convince him that they are just playing a game and the prize will be an armored tank. He entertains his son just to minimize the horror that’s happening around them. If you haven’t seen this Oscar winning movie yet – now is a good time, because this movie will make you laugh through tears.

The Bucket List

The Bucket List is about two terminally ill men (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) who met in a hospital after they were diagnosed with lung cancer. During their treatments they become friends, and decide to escape from the hospital and head off on a road trip to fulfill their bucket list, which is a list of things they want to do before they die.

The Peaceful Warrior

The Peaceful Warrior is also another great movie that you absolutely must watch. Based on the book “Way of The Peaceful Warrior”, the story revolves around Dan, a student who has everything – good looks, friends, fame, girls and talent in gymnastics. Yet, he is unhappy and has troubles sleeping at night. However, one night Dan meets a spiritual guide and here begins the journey of his self-discovery. The message that this movie send is that you don’t need to give up from what you love,but to find love in what you do!

Rudy

Rudy is a true story about Rudy Ruettiger, a boy who dreams of becoming a successful football player. Dan shows that his dreams are more important than all the obstacles. His determination, persistence, effort and hard work make his dreams come true. This is a wonderful movie that will motivate you, make you look back on a life to understand that the battle was its own reward, not the glory.
