Wande Coal moves on from Mavin Records?

Whether at Mo’Hits or Mavin, Wande Coal has played an integral role in the Don Jazzy led crews…
The rumours keep getting louder and assumptions turning into reality, there are strong indications thatWande Coal is parting ways with his current record label Mavin Records.
Wande, inside sources tell us has been contemplating a move now for months and has already launched his own entertainment outfit Black Diamond Entertainment. Sources close to the talented singer tell NET that Wande wants to be in total control of his music career and will be releasing his long awaited second album under his own imprint.
Wande has continually postponed his upcoming album for reasons he’s never told us; in April he promised us a June 6, 2013 release. It’s close to two months and we are still waiting…
Even though both parties aren’t speaking, their actions seem to be doing the talking – Wande released a new single ‘Kilaju‘ today (July 30, 2013) under his Black Diamond Entertainment (the ubiquitous Mavin Records logo is missing from the official cover art). More so, Don Jazzy who seems to be omnipresent on social network Twitter has not mentioned Wande Coal, tweeted or retweeted anything related to the release.
Nothing confirmed still as the Mavin Records publicist and Wande Coal’s manager Nana Abbey have not responded to our phone calls or E-mails.
The last five years have been quite rocky for Mr Wande, after dropping his very successful solo debut ‘Mushin 2 Mohits‘ in 2008, Wande has found himself in troubled waters – in 2010, he ‘went global’ when a picture of him naked leaked on the internet.
Despite all of this, Wande has managed to release chart topping singles, trending globally.
The demand from his ever-thirsty fans has remained constant all through the years, and he seems he now wants to take his future into his own hands.
