PETROLEUM and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, has issued a strike notice to the Federal Government over protracted industrial dispute with some multinational oil companies in the country, threatening to shut down the sector from Monday, December 23, should the government fail to call the affected companies to order.
Specifically, the umbrella body for senior workers in the oil industry has been at logger-
heads with the management of Transocean Support Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL, over the sack of Mike Oshobugie, the in house Branch Chairman of PENGASSAN for alleged union activities.
