A few months ago, former governor of Zamfara State, nowSenator Ahmed Sani Yerima was in the news for all the wrong reasons as he tried to spearhead the passage of a law that allows a man to marry a girl as young as 13 years old.
Now, the Senator who was instrumental to the creation ofSharia Laws in some northern
states has done it again as he has divorced the young girl so as to marry another whose age is also put at 14.
Maria who is now 17 years old already has a child for the distinguished Senator.
The new child-bride is said to come from Egypt as well.
