- 1Have Good Hygiene. Have a shower every 1-2 days, wash your hair 2-4 times a week, maybe a bit more during summer (don't do it too often, it will get too dry), brush your teeth at least twice a day, keep your nails clean, make sure you smell nice but don't over do it, and don't forget to shave the legs!
- 2Look good. First impressions usually start by the looks. And attraction is actually very important. Nobody is perfect, but you should do your best to look the best you can. This includes:

- 4Your skin: In the morning, wash your face with cool water (not too cold, but still not lukewarm) and baby soap, then apply a face cream that suits your skin type. In the evening, wash it only with lukewarm water and use some tonic and moisturizing cream. Eat a lots of food that contain vitamin A and vitamin B. Protect your skin from the sun and drink lots of water.
- 5Your eyebrows: They should be plucked neatly and arched all the time. If you haven't done your eyebrows before, go to a professional; they will shape them properly, and you can ask for advice on how to do it yourself.
- 6Your eyes: You need to take good care of your eyes. Cool applications, such as cucumber slices or cold tea bags, will help reduce the dark circles under the eyes. Do it twice a month.
- 7Your lips: You have to have sweet, hydrated and soft lips. Keep your lips conditioned and exfoliated. Honey and butter are really good for your lips; keep them on for 5 minutes or so, then wash away. Keep lip balm/chap stick with you, but DON'T over-use it. That's how you lose your lips' natural moisture and then you'll have to rely on those products. Don't use gloppy lip gloss or bright colors. Guys tend not to like too much makeup.
- 8Your nails: While nail polish is not necessary, keep your nails trimmed neatly, clean, and hang-nail free. If you want nail polish, go ahead and experiment with the pattern, just keep them clean and nice-looking.
- 9Your body: Workout regularly is important both for looks and health. You should exercise about 3.5-6 hours a week. Even if your not overweight, it'll tone your body. Eat 5 servings of fruit and 5 servings of vegetables daily. And, it might be smart to play a sport. Like softball, soccer, basketball, or swimming. It'll help complete those many hours of exercise each week, and still have fun.
- 10Be confident. Head up; shoulders back, back straight, arms casually at your sides, good gait. Just don't overdo it and look like your posing or strutting, just be sure to emit good vibes and make people know your self esteem is at top.
- 11Style. Remember that hot doesn't mean going out of your comfort zone. A short, low-cut top with a short skirt is too much for some people, but if it makes you feel hot, wear it. Jeans always look good if they are the right cut and size. You don't have to change your wardrobe to be the girl-all-the-guys-want. Just be creative with what you have. Even those boring trousers your grandma gave you for your birthday can look good if you use your imagination a bit - put a nice belt on, maybe a badge or some kind of print. But most importantly, follow your own style, stand out of the crowd. Don't dress like a nun, though. Show a bit of skin but not so much that it becomes vulgar and tasteless.
- 12Make up. Less is more. Light foundation or tinted moisturizer is okay, even a little blush at night. Eyebrow pencil, lightly applied, can help frame your eyes. Don't go too far with the mascara, it should be just a gentle touch to make your eyelashes and eyes stand out. Mascara looks good with eyeliner. Apply eyeliner more lightly for day wear. If you wear mascara and eyeliner, go with lip gloss for the lips. Vice versa, if you wear some bright lip stick, go easy on the eye make-up.
- 13Act cool. Once again, that doesn't mean posing. Feeling confident in yourself usually works - Talk to people outside your group of friends, laugh, be nice, just don't pretend to be someone you're not.
- 14Friends. You need to get a solid group of friends you feel comfortable with. Just don't change your group of friends for the sake of being "cool" - that's mean and fake. Your friends are really nice, aren't they? You probably like them a lot. So don't "exchange" them for some "popular" group. Also, don't talk behind your friends' backs. Try not to talking behind anyone's back, but especially not when it comes to your friends. Support them, be there for them. Most of the time, just have fun with them.
- 15Be natural. If you mess up, laugh about it. Don't get embarrassed by stupid things like tripping over something, falling down or stuff like that - that's lame. Anyway, it happens to everyone so just laugh about it.
- 16Flirt. Never flirt with a friend's boyfriend, of course. It's really NOT cool. Flirt just a tiny bit with your other friends, not the real flirting we all know and love, but that sweet little friendly flirt that makes you smile and feel better - just compliments and stuff. Of course, when you meet someone who you like, feel free to flirt in the proper way with them.
